Looking to do some thing different? Why not take on the challenge of a day climbing in the Peak District!
Our fully qualified instructors, working regularly in the Peak District, are here to provide you with your first taste of this amazing sport. Using their local knowledge and experience they aim to you ensure you have a great introduction to rock climbing in the Peak.
First Mountains provides all the specialist equipment you will need, including rock shoes. All you need to bring is some comfortable warm clothes and a packed lunch.
The course will start with a short ‘safety briefing’ and then up on to the crags to start your adventure!
We meet at Hathersage in the Peak District (see a map and travel info here) at 9am and then move on to a suitable local crag. Hathersage is accessible via train and bus.
As this course is based completely outdoors you need to be prepared for the weather conditions which can vary depending on the time of year .
