This course is designed to take you to the next level whilst still under the supervision of an instructor. We take an in-depth look at the climbing rack and its uses, in particular related to the placing of climbing protection. We analyse and evaluate the different types of placements available on a particular climb as well as learning how to place runners on lead routes.
Time is spent looking at the use of guidebooks and selecting routes to start out on. This rock climbing course culminates with you leading routes under the close supervision of an instructor and with the additional protection of a top rope. Please note that at no time on this course will you be lead climbing with out the safety of a top rope.
The course costs £130 for the 2 days. Instructor ratios never exceed 1:3 on this course.
